What is the Arc Story?
Back in July 2019, I had an idea. A story I built up in my mind that would mix COD Zombies and the Rec Room lore. That story is now known as the Arc Story. The first 2 episodes, Into Chaos and Der Eiernacht, both are taking place at the exact same time in different locations in the world. So as of now, the story hasn't moved forward yet.
Into Chaos
Into Chaos was the first map to come out. Our Arc Crew, Dan, Peter, Sarah and Josh, all meet in the chaos ensuing in Cyberjunk City as Jumbotron invades the city. This story takes place in a world where Jumbotron was not defeated, which causes Hacker Hawkin to drive himself into madness, trying to survive the next invasion. While experimenting, Hawkin created the H.A.W.K.E.N program, letting him transfer his brain into the main computers in Cyberjunk City. As the Arc Crew meets up, they are met by Rose and Hawkin, who are both trying to get them out of the city. As they escape, they are sent back in time by Hawkin in 1957.
Der Eiernacht
Der Eiernacht takes place in North Germany, four researchers got a signal of distress from someone saying an ancient artifact was located in the mountains. As they end up in the lodge and rest for the night, they are soon awaken by noises outside. The researchers must fight through endless hordes of Goblins to pass the night alive. Doing so grants them access to the Obelisk Arc. The surcharge caused by completing the main quest is what causes the auxiliary power outage in Into Chaos.
The Last Sunset
The Last Sunset takes place in 1957, surprisingly, at the same location where Cyberjunk City establishes itself in 2087. Instead of a city, the Arc Crew finds an abandoned Drive-In. Hawkin explains that the Verronian Arc is located at this very location. As you must fight endless waves of Goblins, it becomes more apparent that an ally's past will resurface in a negative way soon...
The Last Sunset is set to release September 30th. Completing the Easter Egg will teleport you into a subroom with a YouTube link to watch the Ending Cutscene. There are a few side easter-eggs you can find while playing too, such as lore radios, secret weapons and more! See you September 30th.
